Stephen Mitchell
Stephen Mitchell is a retired petroleum geologist. He has a MS degree in geology from UTEP. He worked for 37 years for Mobil Oil and then ExxonMobil around the world. He was recognized in particular for expertise in stratigraphy and regional geologic studies. He is an active member of his local church, Spring Creek Baptist Church, serving as a deacon and teacher there. He has authored one book, “A Texas-Sized Challenge to Young Earth Creation and Flood Geology”. He maintains a website: Jesus in History and Science that deals with apologetic issues such as the age of the Earth.
