George L. Murphy
Templeton Prize winner George L. Murphy has a B.S and Ph.D. in physics from, respectively, Ohio University and Johns Hopkins, and an M.Div. from Wartburg Seminary. Ordained in 1983, he has served Lutheran and Episcopal congregations. He has long been involved with theology-science relationships and has published numerous articles and six books in this area, in addition to research publications in physics.
